Mitzi’s story begins with love and respect for family. Grandma Mitzi inspired the whole brand through her well-designed, eclectic personal style. She was quite artistic as a painter and an antique collector, so she had an eye for finding that perfect piece at the right price point. Now the company is in its third generation of being family owned and they continue to honor Grandma Mitzi’s passion by providing stylish lighting at the right price.

However, Mitzi Lighting does not take on this responsibility alone. Mitzi is a part of the illustrious Hudson Valley Lighting Group that includes other big names like Troy Lighting and Corbett Lighting.

As a part of the Hudson Valley Lighting Group, Mitzi is headed by the CEO David Littman, who in turn employs a relatively young design team. Part of the reason he is so passionate about involving younger designers is to give them the freedom to experiment with the form and function of lighting within the company’s high quality and design standards. One of their most iconic named designers is Megan Molten, who has her own collection of lights with Mitzi.
